Shardé N. Alexander
Bio
Shardé Alexander is a visual artist working between the regions of Riverside County, California (Tongva, Cahuilla, & Luiseño lands) and Los Angeles County, California (Chumash & Tongva lands).
Experimenting with video, installation, photography, audio, and other mediums, she explores the complexities of love, girlhood, sanctuary, and adultification deriving from self lived experiences and world view perspectives that directly affect Black female bodies.
She currently holds a BA in Studio Art from the University of California, Los Angeles.
